Royal Academy of Dance Grade Syllabus

The foundation of ballet commences here. These students study the Royal Academy of Dance Syllabus to undertake an annual examination, all students must attend two ballet classes of their grade per week and must keep the second week free of the June/July holiday for Exam Vacation School. Entries close at the end of Term 1 for these Examinations. The Royal Academy of Dance examinations is the best way for students to attain personal goals. The RAD offers an examination program to suit everybody whether new to ballet or already an advanced student. Both the Graded & Vocational Graded Qualifications are on the QCE database of accredited qualifications.

To create pleasing aesthetic lines and attention to detail that is required of classical dancers today, it is vital to train the muscles of the body to work fluidly, productively and harmoniously. Within these classes students attain to achieve personal flexibility & strength goals. Inspiration leads to perspiration!
